Graduation Requirements

We believe that children’s spirit of inquiry, as well as their investment in and ownership of their work, are sustained when adults treat the children's interests and questions with seriousness and respect.

Graduation Requirements

Students are eligible to graduate from Sabot at Stony Point upon successful completion of the core academic curriculum. Over the course of their Sabot experience, students will engage in academic courses that are part of the core curriculum as well as other courses that are not required for graduation but are still important components of a Sabot education.

Completion of the core curriculum means that students will have met established criteria for all the core curriculum courses with a passing grade (D or above). Failure to earn a passing grade in any other course does not disqualify a student from graduating.

Courses that may qualify for a transferable high school credit:

  • Algebra I
  • English 9
  • Earth Science with Lab
  • Spanish I
  • Spanish II
