Taïs Bohigas

Taïs Bohigas joined the Sabot community as our Middle School Spanish teacher in March 2022. She is from Barcelona and has been living in the United States since 2010. Taïs earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Education at the University of Barcelona and completed a Masters in Management, Innovation and Leadership in Schools with Camilo José Cela University in Spain. She has previously taught in bilingual-bicultural programs at Reggio-inspired schools in Seattle and Santa Monica and started her own child care center in Culver City, California. Taïs brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in curriculum design and pedagogy to her engaging and creative Spanish lessons at Sabot. Taïs recently moved to Richmond with her husband and two daughters.



When she is not teaching she likes to sew, do all sorts of crafts and read about diverse education topics.
