Laura has served on Sabot’s Board since 2018. Prior to joining the Board, she served on both the Facilities and Stewardship Committees. In 2017, she assisted a Sabot class working on a dance project that they envisioned. In 2019, ’20/’21 and 2022 she volunteered as a coordinator for the auction student art projects and in 2021 and 2022 served on the auction team. She received a B.A. from Brown University and a B.F.A. from VCU in Dance and Choreography and has worked as a dancer, choreographer, and teacher. She and her husband, Eric, are parents of members of the classes of ’20 and ’22, both of whom started at Sabot in preschool. She is particularly passionate about the way Sabot provides an opportunity for students to develop their unique intelligence within a rigorous and interest-driven course of study.
