How to Apply

All families interested in applying for tuition assistance should follow the procedures and timeline detailed in our Tuition Assistance Information Packet.

About

We offer tuition assistance to help bridge the gap between what a family can afford and the cost of their child’s education. While the cost of a Sabot education should not be a barrier to applying or attending, it remains the family’s responsibility to cover some portion of the cost of tuition.

Typically, about one-quarter of students receive some amount of aid to offset the tuition cost. Financial assistance only applies to tuition costs and does not cover extended day fees.

Our tuition assistance determinations rely in part on a needs assessment by a third party, School and Student Services (SSS). Sabot’s SSS identification code is 3519. We take into consideration the results of the needs assessment, but final decisions about awards are made by Sabot School. We make every effort to award some amount of aid to every student with a demonstrated need.

Decisions regarding awards are made in response to complete tuition assistance applications and are made independently of admissions decisions. The tuition assistance committee maintains strict confidentiality over tuition assistance files and trusts that the family will keep the same discretion regarding awards and decisions.

Returning Students: Tuition assistance applications must be submitted by December 15 in order to be considered for the coming school year.

New Applicants: Applications submitted after January 1 will be considered on a funds-available basis.
