Katie first discovered Reggio through St. John’s Episcopal Preschool in Washington, D.C. and followed in the footsteps of many St. John’s teachers to find a larger Reggio community at Sabot. Since coming to Sabot, Katie has worked in the extended day program and as a substitute teacher across the Preschool and Lower School, and is thrilled to get to spend this year building relationships with one preschool class. Katie loves learning with and from the children as they discover and expand their own understanding of nature, language, developing social relationships, and so much more.
