Eileen Rossi

Eileen began her journey at Sabot School in 2018 with the youngest learners in the Nest after teaching for 12 years in the mixed-aged Richmond Waldorf School Kindergarten and the Early Childhood Aftercare Program. She has been working with young children in various roles all of her life, including teaching early elementary school Spanish and in the medical social work field. Currently, she is team-teaching in Sabot’s Extended Day program, working primarily with Kindergarten to Grade 2 students. Eileen brings a love of cooking with children to her work, as well as a passion for nature study, the Spanish language and Latin American culture. Eileen lived in Uruguay with her native husband, has traveled in South America, and is fluent in Spanish.

Eileen enjoys hiking, mountain biking, cooking, plants, and reading.
